If you want to remember the history Joan, it has to be truth. How much of the truth do you want?

Following the death of her husband, Joan goes to Italy to be reunited with their estranged son Alex.

In a villa belonging to Alex’s dubious business associate, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, Joan

discovers a taste for olives, parma ham, sweet peaches and cold Frascati. As she starts to make sense

of her long and troubled marriage to the philandering Freddie, Joan becomes increasingly haunted by

events of her own past.

The assembled cast (sta and in order of speaking) for the reading are as follows:

Imelda Staunton reading Joan

Lenora Crichlow reading Kerry

Michael Simkins reading Andrew

Peter Wight reading Freddie

Agron Biba reading Marco

Steven Webb reading Alex

Directed by Richard Lumsden

The reading will last approximately 2 hours 20 minutes including interval

and refreshments will be provided.
